2010 will be our 5th annual event held in conjunction with the Pet Expo at
Reading - still the largest Pet Show in the East. Attendance at the 2009 show
was well over 30,000 for the weekend.
HWA continues to grow and remains a huge success -- drawing Clinicians from
across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions who want to showcase their
talents. We have many equine friends join the show....including Quarter Horses,
American Spotted Drafts, American Warmbloods, Nakota's, mini's....and others
as we continue to grow and expand -- thanks in part to all of you!
HWA focuses on Education and Entertainment as attendees to the show are
not predominantly equine professionals. Do you remember yearning for your
first pony? Dreaming of riding off into the sunset....well many of our attendees
are seeing horses for the first time -- and up close and personal.
At HWA we want to share our love for our horses as well as our profession and
we hope that a percentage of you will grow to share our love of horses - maybe
even become the future of our industry. As equine professionals, why not take a
break and come see what others might be doing and have some fun while you're
here. Over the years, our educating and entertaining topics have included
cutting horses, carriages, games, musical expositions, breed parade, holistic
health, legal issues, health & fitness, safety cues to improve your confidence,
how to ride your horse from the ground, painting muscle groups.
We continue to change and expand our topics that will inspire attendees.

How to Enjoy Horse World Arena
With HWA held in conjunction with the Pet Expo at Reading, and there's a lot
to see.

- You can purchase tickets in advance online or obtain on-site when you
arrive at the Expo. - Take a moment to print out the schedule of events for both the Pet Expo at
Reading and the HWA. This will allow you the time to check out what you
want to see. - If you plan to bring your pets during the allowed times, please remember
their leash. Also, your pet has needs too - water, food, and potty breaks are
just as important to our pets as they are to us. - Do you know how to get to the Expo Center? Make certain to print
directions so there's no confusion. - Make certain to wear comfortable shoes, there's a lot of walking and
standing. - Don't forget photo opportunities - bring your camera!
- For your safety and the safety of our animals, please do not feed them.
- Relax and enjoy the variety of events being showcased, we're certain you'll
have lots of fun.
